Off the tee, it’s a bit of a rough start, but we had a day. Try to book accurate times because if you don’t, they expect you at the other time you booked. But golf is awful. It’s amazing. It sucks. This course though is a nice little 9-er in the middle of the city. Beautiful view. Beautiful greens. Awesome. Hole 8 is a doozy.
First time golfing here and it was a great experience. Pace was a little slow, but what do you expect on a holiday weekend where most groups were fivesomes. No big deal.
There are two holes that are way more difficult than they look, basically 90° doglegs, just don’t overthink them. This 9-hole course has character. Highly recommend.
Very nice for a municipal golf course. The grounds are fairly well kept, and you will find great views and maybe even some deer. In terms of the layout, it's a good middle ground between a par 3 and a full sized course. You'll need to break out your driver for sure, but many holes are forgiving (there are just a couple tricky ones).
It can get very crowded here, even at off times, so book online and be sure to be EARLY for your tee time. And plan on getting paired up with other players.
This review is from a recreational golfer. The course is an excellent 9 hole, the grass and green is well kept. They got options for push carts. The course flows well with one hole that gets a little clogged and it’s a 5 person setup for each tee time. Just be aware there is no driving range. Overall it’s a challenging 9 hole with a lot of par 4’s and very satisfying once you finish.
Parking was limited but we luckily got one in the golf parking, otherwise street parking is available. I reserved two spots and got matched with three other random people but they were real cool.
Wish there was a drink cart lady, but overall excellent experience. There is a convenience store near golf check in that has food and drink too.
Solid public course. All walking. Only downside is that they group up to 5 golfers at once which can slow things down
One of the best 9 hole courses I’ve played. Green is in good condition. Can get slow sometimes according to other players. Each hole has its challenging design. Best is picturesque vantage point of LA and you wouldn’t realize you’re by the Griffith Observatory.
This course needs to learn how to appropriately space out the tee times. Saw 17 people on one hole. 12 of whom were waiting on the teebox. And this is 10 minutes before sundown so... it must have been like this all day. City mismanagement of a beautiful golf course.
Great 9 holes with beautiful views and rolling hills. Bring your own clubs and pull cart. No par 5’s but challenging 3’s and 4’s. $18 daily.
